ADHAM FARAMAWY

Adham Faramawy (born 1981, Dubai) is a London-based artist of Egyptian descent. He studied at both The Slade School and The Royal Academy of Arts and is affiliated with the !WOWWOW! group . Faramawy works predominantly in digital video, print and sculptural installation. His video works are often installed as single and multi channel projections and multi channel cathode ray television stacks. His pieces have thus far explored folk stories, early religious mythologies, animism, psychedelia, extreme science and the occult married together in an investigative re-presentation of linear narrative structures, forefronting performance and language.
